I got mugged this morning
This morning while waiting for my bus (here) I was mugged by three guys. All they wanted was my iPhone apparently. No guns; no knives. It was like a magic trick. Within one second my iPhone was gone and I was on the ground. This happened in daylight in front of a dozen people. No one said anything; no one cared. Pathetic.
I immediately deactivated the iPhone since I had so much sensitive stuff on...

Los Angeles vacation
I went to visit various family members in the Los Angeles area for Memorial Day weekend. Here’s a little rundown of what I did.

Penn State Weekend
I went to visit the Pachey (my friend Rachel from Cornell) at Penn State last weekend. I met a bunch of her friends/colleagues, reunited with her cute cats, and pretended I was a college student again. It was slightly crazy. I forgot how cheap beer is in college towns. Made it back to SFO. BART got me to Caltrain. That got me to Menlo Park. Stuck because someone was killed on the tracks. Almost… there.
BOTH hotel wake-up calls didn’t happen. Missed my flight out of Dulles. Taking the next one. Will be very late to work. I hate everyone.
Missed my connecting flight to SF by 2 minutes. Spending the night at the Hyatt in DC. No voucher because it wasn’t United’s fault. Whatev!
Asshole United employee laughed at my chances of catching my flight in DC. Probably means I’m spending the night in Dulles. Yay again.
And the travel nightmare begins with a delayed flight and a missed connection. Yay!
Had an awesome time at Penn State with the Pachey. Starting my journey back to SF now.
