SF Food Wars: Yeast Affliction: I went to my first SF Food Wars event at Thirsty Bear. The theme was bread. Lots and lots of bread. Way too much bread for anyone to eat in one sitting. I was surprised by how well organized the event was. They limited the number of tickets to prevent an uncomfortably packed venue. Pretty rare. Some breads were delicious; some were… not. I highly recommend Thirsty Bear’s Golden Vanilla beer. Delicious.
