Randall, the xkcd guy, is basically a super nerd. I chose the word nerd because he knows a little about everything (unlike a geek who knows a lot about one thing). He’s shockingly witty and entertaining. It was great to meet him and hear some stories about xkcd in the early days.

Finally finished: The 9/11 Commission Report is actually pretty fascinating. There’s a great minute by minute rundown of what happened both on the ground and in the air.
