Adina coffee energy drinks:
I love trying new coffee-esque drinks.
These claim to be Transfair USA certified, contain natural caffeine, nothing artificial, and the antioxidant equivalent of 4 servings of fruit (hmmm).
Delicious.
Starbucks love:
Starbucks has new cups for Valentine’s Day. Yay for being single.

Here’s the result of my first Aerolatte attempt.
I added a dash of mocha powder.
Actually, that’s probably more than a dash. Maybe a clump.
This is my first try with the Aerolatte steam free milk frother.
Although it appears that there is not much froth by the end of the video, I assure you there was plenty.
Well, the Starbucks Gold Card is finally… gold. The best part though is my name being printed on it. Awesome.
This was mailed to me along with the details of the new program.
Free drink “just for being gold.”
Free drink on my birthday.
2 hours of wi-fi every day.
Free refills on coffee.
Free syrups.
Free soymilk (apparently they charge more?)
Free coffee every time I purchase a pound of beans (which I do - Pike Place Roast)
Exclusive offers & coupons (this is serious - Starbucks once put $10 on the card for no reason)
Free drink every 15 stars (you get a star each time you buy a drink)
My only concern is I don’t see anything about my usual 10% off everything deal. Uh oh.
Note: This photo required macro mode to achieve legible text. Also, underneath is the XKCD Online Communities Poster.
Starbucks VIA container:
This is my latest cubicle addition: a VIA packet container. In it I have all 3 VIA flavors: decaf, Colombia, and Italian Roast.
Starbucks VIA container - open:
Here’s what the VIA container looks like when opened.
Using my credit card at Sightglass Coffee:
This is the first time I’ve seen Jack Dorsey’s latest product: Square Up.
The employee at Sight Glass Coffee used an iPod Touch with a little hardware accessory to accept my credit card. Very impressive.

The famous Sight Glass Coffee:
After all the buzz I’m thoroughly unimpressed. Apparently construction will be completed in February 2010. For now, if you want warmth and a place to sit, I recommend going to Blue Bottle Cafe.
