Google Voice Port Process
  1. Port to Google Voice the day before new iPhone comes out.
  2. Pay $20 to Google and $200+ to AT&T for canceling my contract.
  3. Purchase new iPhone for $199 and sign up for new contract and phone number.
  4. Forward Google Voice to the new phone number.

Thoughts?


New Google Voice number: Tempting. Very tempting. Definitely worth $10, but the unfamiliar area code makes me hesitate.

Google Voice cards: My free set of Google Voice business cards arrived from iPrint.com. I only used that number for my apartment building’s phone system in San Francisco. I’m not sure what to do with it now. Perhaps buy a cooler number? Maybe switch to a myTouch 3G (T-Mobile) and port the number to Google? Who knows.
