Looks like Facebook is ready to move in to their new HQ
Foursquare tips on TV
Red Mango in Palo Alto has tons of stickers in its front window showing off all of the apps and services they support. They also have a large TV showing New York Times content thanks to RMG Networks.
Pretty cool, right?
Well, they added a new feature: Foursquare. They show the mayor, number of checkins, and, to my surprise, the most popular tip written by yours truly.
While paying for my froyo I saw this flash by from fifteen feet: ”not as good as fraiche.” Fraiche is another nearby froyo place. ::Awkward::
The lesson here is assume everything you say online will end up on a large TV in front of strangers.
21st century theft
Found a Bling tag on the ground in Palo Alto. Immediately treated everyone in Coupa Cafe to a round of lattes.
Haha yeah right.
Customer confusion
Red Mango’s window is overwhelming. Imagine if they also included “People Love Us On Yelp,” Google Places, or BlingNation stickers. I can’t keep up.
Yes, this is Palo Alto, CA.
Dave Lifson of Postling says you never see this in New York. Apparently Silicon Valley is insane.
